Mooncakes & Flavours
What are the most popular Raffles Mooncake flavours this year?
Raffles Singapore offers both traditional baked Mooncakes and signature snow skin flavours. Signature products include Champagne Truffle Snow-skin Mooncake and Double Yolk with Macadamia Nuts & White Lotus Paste. Our new flavours launched this year are Matcha & Raspberry Truffle Snow-skin Mooncake, and Whisky & Lapsang Souchong Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake.
What is the difference between Traditionally Baked and Snow-Skin Mooncakes?
Baked Mooncakes feature a golden-brown pastry outer layer with classic white lotus paste fillings, often paired with salted egg yolk. Snow-skin Mooncakes have a soft, delicate, non-baked outer layer, are served chilled and feature truffle centres in a variety of flavours. Both are perfect for Mid-Autumn gifting and as an elegant treat.
Which Raffles Mooncake flavour is recommended for first-time buyers?
For first-time buyers, we recommend our signature Champagne Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake, a longstanding favourite among guests.
For a non-alcoholic selection and a taste of tradition, we recommend any of our Baked Mooncakes selection such as Mother-of-Pearl with Single Yolk and White Lotus Paste Baked Mooncake, or Pine Nuts with Macadamia Nuts and White Lotus Paste Mooncake.
Which Mooncakes contain alcohol?
The Champagne Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake contains champagne.

What is the difference between premium and regular Mooncakes?
While all Mooncakes celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, premium Mooncakes typically use higher-quality ingredients, refined recipes, artisanal craftsmanship and more sophisticated presentation. They are often created in limited seasonal collections and designed with gifting in mind.
Raffles Singapore's Mooncake collection reflects these qualities through carefully crafted flavours, elegant gift boxes and the timeless heritage associated with one of Singapore's most iconic luxury hotels.
Storage & Freshness
How should I store my Mooncakes?

Our Snow-Skin Mooncakes are best consumed within five days of purchase while our Baked Mooncakes are best consumed within one month of purchase.

Why are Raffles Singapore Mooncakes a popular Mid-Autumn Festival gift?
Raffles Singapore Mooncakes bring together the hotel’s heritage, elegant presentation and a curated selection of well-loved flavours. This year’s collection is presented in a box adorned with a commissioned watercolour masterpiece by Nicole Koo of ART:DIS (Arts & Disability Singapore), making it a meaningful gift for family, friends and business associates.
When is the Mid-Autumn Festival this year?
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also know as Mooncake Festival, falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, which is 25 September 2026. It is one of the most important and celebrated festivals in Chinese culture, with family reunions, moon appreciation and the gifting and enjoyment of Mooncakes.
As demand increases closer to the festival, Raffles Singapore recommends ordering early to enjoy the widest selection of flavours, and preferred delivery or collection dates.
Why are Mooncakes typically consumed during Mid-Autumn Festival?
Mooncakes symbolise reunion, harmony and togetherness, making them an enduring tradition during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Today, they are shared among family, friends, colleagues and business partners as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill.
At Raffles Singapore, our Mooncake collection continues this tradition by combining heritage craftsmanship with refined flavours and elegant gift boxes that celebrate the spirit of the season.
